About
Cape Cod Life Publications’ exclusive collection of limited edition prints by renowned artist Julia O’Malley-Keyes are created using the finest pigmented inks, and the highest quality canvas or fine art paper available.
Our collection of fine art paper prints is created on 300g Hahnemühle paper. Hahnemühle paper has been creating fine papers for many of the world’s most renowned artists for over 400 years and is considered the gold standard of fine art papers.
Our canvas print collection is created using only the highest quality printable canvas and pigmented inks available, using the Giclée process. Canvas fine art prints look most like the original oil painting as there is no necessity for glass as there is with fine art paper prints. The Giclée printing process is the benchmark for fine art galleries and museums.
Our canvas and fine art paper prints will arrive with a Certificate of Authenticity assuring you that your print is an authentic Julia O’Malley-Keyes fine art print. Each print in our exclusive collection is created one at a time, especially for you.
Why is your fine art print shipped unframed?
We understand that all of us have individual tastes in fine art, and that includes framing choices. Our exclusive fine art canvas prints are available in either a gallery wrap that may be presented without a frame for a more contemporary look or a museum wrap that looks best in a frame of your choice. Paper prints include an appropriate border around the full image to allow for mat and frame choices. Both canvas and paper prints are shipped with the utmost care in custom-created packaging to ensure that your new piece of art arrives in pristine condition. Please consider sending us a photo of your new art in your home, we would love to see it!

We want you to be as delighted with your fine art print as much as we believe you will. We would never expect you to accept a product that was defective or damaged in shipment. Please make your selection carefully and thoughtfully since our return policy extends to items that have been produced with defects or have been damaged during the shipping process. Artist statement
On a warm day this summer, I received a call early in the morning from my dear friend Alan Elloian. Alan is the much-loved father of a tribe of brilliant daughters, and husband to his radiant wife, Carol. Alan and I often take a boat ride out into Nantucket Sound, traveling to the islands and visiting harbors and other areas that may only be reached by sailing or motoring out to them. Our frequent trips to hidden coves and harbors garner tons of sketches and photos of the unique beauty offered only by our area of Cape Cod. These sketches and reference images eventually wind up on my easel and become oil paintings that mark our memorable days out on the waters that surround Cape Cod. The inspiration for this painting came from the peaceful scene of two classic sailboats anchored side-by-side in Vineyard Haven Harbor, awaiting their captains to take the helm and once again sail the waves of Nantucket Sound. Vineyard Haven harbor has been the main port on Martha's Vineyard since the 18th century and home to many traditional sailing vessels. The harbor is surrounded by a charming New England town known as Tisbury and West Tisbury.
