About

Cape Cod Life Publications’ exclusive collection of limited edition prints by renowned artist Julia O’Malley-Keyes are created using the finest pigmented inks, and the highest quality canvas or fine art paper available.

Our collection of fine art paper prints is created on 300g Hahnemühle paper. Hahnemühle paper has been creating fine papers for many of the world’s most renowned artists for over 400 years and is considered the gold standard of fine art papers.

Our canvas print collection is created using only the highest quality printable canvas and pigmented inks available, using the Giclée process. Canvas fine art prints look most like the original oil painting as there is no necessity for glass as there is with fine art paper prints. The Giclée printing process is the benchmark for fine art galleries and museums.

Our canvas and fine art paper prints will arrive with a Certificate of Authenticity assuring you that your print is an authentic Julia O’Malley-Keyes fine art print. Each print in our exclusive collection is created one at a time, especially for you.

Why is your fine art print shipped unframed?

We understand that all of us have individual tastes in fine art, and that includes framing choices. Our exclusive fine art canvas prints are available in either a gallery wrap that may be presented without a frame for a more contemporary look or a museum wrap that looks best in a frame of your choice. Prints are shipped with the utmost care in custom-created packaging to ensure that your new piece of art arrives in pristine condition. Please consider sending us a photo of your new art in your home, we would love to see it!

Our return policy

We want you to be as delighted with your fine art print as much as we believe you will. We would never expect you to accept a product that was defective or damaged in shipment. Please make your selection carefully and thoughtfully since our return policy extends to items that have been produced with defects or have been damaged during the shipping process. Please contact shop@capecodlife.com as soon as you receive your fine art print if you find it is defective in any way and we will issue a return authorization code for any defective product. We will also issue shipping information to return your merchandise for expedited re-issue.

Artist statement

The Marion to Bermuda Cruising Yacht Race is a biennial yacht race held in odd-numbered years, from Marion, Massachusetts to the island of Bermuda, a distance of 645 nautical miles. In 1975 local yacht sailor W. David Kingery from Marion was interested in doing a single-handed race from England to Newport, Rhode Island and sailed alone to Bermuda as a qualifying voyage. This gave Kingery the concept of a race dedicated to cruising sailors and families on this route and he was able to obtain co-operation and sponsorship from the Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club in Bermuda, the Beverly Yacht Club in Marion and the Blue Water Sailing Club. The first Marion–Bermuda Cruising Yacht Race was organized in 1977 for 104 boats. Unlike other offshore races, the Marion Bermuda race is a non-professional event and is held for enthusiasts of long-distance cruising and the profound joy of being on the ocean.
